At Beau Bijou Design, we only believe in supplying the best products at the best prices. Therefore, we have teamed up with the sole importer of Kuhlmann and Beeck German Kitchens to the UK, Arlington International Agencies.
Arlington supply over 65 independent showrooms across the UK as well as having their own showroom in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Our kitchens are manufactured by 2 of the best German kitchen manufacturers, Kuhlmann and Beeck Kuechen.

Our unique process allows customers to get the best designs and the best products for less than any other kitchen retailer. As an authorised Beeck and Kuhlmann Kitchens dealer, we pass on our trade discount to our Beau Bijou Design customers.

Beau Bijou Design do not have showrooms. With rent, rates and staff costing in the 10’s of thousands per month, opening a kitchen showroom creates so much extra cost that it has to be added to kitchen prices. Our business model allows extremely low margins making some of Germanys best kitchens, more affordable.
As everyone is well aware, German kitchens have a reputation for being the best kitchens in the world. We share this opinion.
Our Beeck and Kuhlmann kitchens are right at the top in terms of quality, choice, service and style.
British kitchens tend to use 18mm Medium density board. Many German companies go with 16mm high density which is the same Strength. Beeck Kitchens opted for a 19mm High Density Board creating amazing strength and allowing for unique design options unavailable anywhere else.
Whilst most German kitchens are bespoke, we offer the largest selection of standard products in the world as well as offering fully bespoke sizes and colours. This keeps the cost down but it also reduces error and guarantees better quality.
Need a 762mm wide oven housing, a 550mm base unit or a 2.4m wide drawer set? All standard products with Beeck and Kuhlmann Kitchens.
Hinges and drawer boxes are all top-of-the-line Hettich Avantech and Blum in Kuhlmann. The very best. Combined with the engineering of the units will see your kitchen last a lifetime.
Beeck and Kuhlmann Kitchens are family run businesses who do not advertise and very careful with which suppliers to choose. This gives our Kitchens an exclusivity not available from mass market suppliers. Not to mention the attention to detail and personal customer service only available from family companies.

Beeck Kitchens use solar panels to to run most of their energy requirements. This enables them to have environmentally conscious, carbon-neutral production.
PEFC guarantees that wood and paper products come from only sustainably managed forests.
Sustainability is such an important aspect. Due to the permissible formaldehyde limit values, all bodies will comply with the high US standards CARB2 and TSCA Titlke 6.
Wood products made from CARB2 panels are sustainable, environmentally friendly and ensure a healthy indoor climate.

Our kitchens are available for Beau Bijou Design customers only. As an interior design business, our priority is designing beautiful kitchens. We have made available 3 kitchen ranges to enable our customers to source fantastic quality for less. If you are not a Beau Bijou Design customer, don’t worry, click request a quote and we will have a chat.
Once we have completed our design package (detailed on home page), we will recommend the most suitable kitchen supplier. This may be DIY Kitchens, Howdens, your local independent or another who we feel would suit your requirements and budget. If at this stage you feel one of our products is best suited, we will provide a quotation.
Due to the prices, we will not sell these kitchens in large quantities and only where it is right for our customer.
On choosing one of the Kuhlmann or Beeck Kitchens, we will reduce the price of the kitchen by whatever cost has been paid for the design service (Usually £300).
To place an order, our German Kitchens require just 10% deposit. The price will be held for up to 6 months.
At the point at which you want to arrange delivery, we need 8 weeks notice due to manufacturing lead times.
Due to our extremely low margins, full balance is due prior to production in order to cover our costs.
We will then send your order to the factory. The manufacturers then check the order and plan to make sure it is perfect then put the kitchen into production.
Your kitchen will then be delivered on time in full.
We do not install kitchens. Our whole company ethos is about giving customers the best kitchens at the best price. For this reason, we recommend using local installers. This saves on average, around 50% on the installation price versus high street retailers.
We will recommend appliances, worktops, sinks and taps and any other product going into your kitchen to ensure you get the best deals! Once we provide the appliance product codes, the units are made bespoke to fit these appliances.
