However we get the measurements, the first task is a sense check against any images of the space and / or existing designs. We will use the measurements as a note pad to add all of our ideas during the consultation and start to build a plan. Using the best kitchen design software, we will produce 2d plans annotated in detail to show every item. From here, we will render the high definition images to help you visualise your new kitchen. Knowing what is going into each drawer and cupboard and how the kitchen will be used. Your independent kitchen designer will have considered and added wall and floor coverings, accurate depictions of existing items such as doors and windows and even recommended specific paint including RAL colours. We propose a supplier for each item, leveraging our expertise and network, and extend any negotiated discounts to you. This is by far our most popular service. Some customers don’t have a clue where to start. Historically, customers would choose their retailer, get a free design then purchase or shop around using the design. However, the problem is, the chosen retailer is limited by their product offering, systems and business profit expectations. Undoubtably, their main goal is to sell to you, not design your dream kitchen. In addition, once they complete a design, there are no recommendations. It all starts with a free consultation by video or telephone to discuss requirements with an independent kitchen designer. These calls can be anything from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the size of the project. During this call we will gain an insight into your personality and how you use the kitchen. Any ideas you may already have including any products you may have already decided on will be discussed.
We will make a rough hand sketch of the kitchen plan making sure we include the important parts to give us a starting point for your perfect kitchen plan.
Following on from the consultation, we will produce a beautiful kitchen design. We will make sure to include everything discussed during the call. This design will be unique to you and one of a kind. Forget the generic designs people see daily where every kitchen is a carbon copy of every other. Your amazing kitchen will stand out above the rest and really reflect your character.
