He delivered when he said he would. And using the service definitely saved us money compared to going to each supplier directly.
We had originally thought we would use them because DIY kitchens design tool was tricky to work with. But they were able to source from a wider range of suppliers and so we were able to get a higher spec Pebble kitchen within budget and he was able to get quotes for both, to help us compare.

Best decision I ever made using this service, when I started my journey with my renovation I was so worried with all the bad reviews that was out there in the kitchen industry. I didn’t know where to go.

I wanted to buy a kitchen through DIY Kitchen but found the DIY design daunting. The remote process also slightly concerned me but I can’t recommend Beau Bijou more highly. Just a drawing with measurements, and photos of my old kitchen was enough.
I’m also picky and changed my mind a few times about details. Richard is incredibly patient, enthusiastic, available evenings and weekends to see the process through to the end. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him."

“I asked Beau Bijou design to come out and look at my kitchen as I didn’t know where to start. Richard spent a long time talking me through all of the options and measuring my kitchen.
The designs he produced were better than I’d hoped, they were really amazing. I had never heard of a freelance kitchen designer until I had seen them on Facebook and I glad I gave them a go. I ended up getting my kitchen from DIY Kitchens and they did the order for me and I bought my Calacuta gold quartz worktops from Beau Bijou too and they are beautiful! So happy.”
His expertise, responsiveness and all round great service has got me further towards my new kitchen than any ther supplier so far! 🙂
“After trawling round several high street and independent retailers and DIY stores for 3 months I felt like i was going round in circles. Nobody I’d seen would give me plans without a deposit, even when i offered to pay for a plan they weren’t interested.
Cue Richard at Beau Bijou Designs, who’s produced a really great plan for my kitchen for a really affordable price, within one week of me contacting him. It’s all been done remotely and i can now approach retailers and fitters to get accurate costs.
I’m still working with Richard on appliances, quartz worktops, and other parts of my kitchen, his recommendations have been so helpful. I’m interested in ordering direct through DIY kitchens, who Richard works alongside for some of his projects, and as a bonus he will discount the design fee if I order through him. I had approached few companies for quotes but shortlisted DIY kitchens after seeing all the reviews on web.
However being a novice in DIY I was unsure of how easy/ difficult the online planner would be.
That's when I saw Beau Bijou design pop up in my FB feed and thought this was exactly the service I was looking for. The remote process also slightly concerned me but I can’t recommend Richard more highly.For a nominal fee he came to measure our kitchen provided me with some 3D renders with all the requirements I had listed.
He double checked the design and the units to go in basket until I was satisfied with it .
I did change my mind with colour selection and different type of units a few times.
Richard is incredibly patient, enthusiastic, available evenings and weekends to see the process through to the end.He also helped me with some valuable advice during fitting process.My kitchen is all fitted for now .Just waiting for worktops to go on .
